Introducing Milo and Chase Night

We have a winner!

Just a quick post to announce that Chase Night (yes, that badass name is for real) of Austin, TX, is TheDonatingDrummer’s first ever recipient!

Chase found his current cat, Milo, abandoned in an ashtray three years ago. Chase started down the road of becoming a minimalist after Milo developed a UTI and, quite frankly, began pee’ing on all of his possessions!

Chase is raising money this month to support the American Society for the Prevention of Cruelty to Animals (ASPCA) through their Operation Cats program. Although my available $100 December donation doesn’t fully cover his goal of $500, I want to help. And I’m hoping that perhaps you will join with me and help out, as well.

2010 December - Milo Chase Night - The Donating Drummer

Read Chase’s blog posts about his ASPCA goal and how cat pee made him a minimalist!

Then get on over to Milo’s ASPCA Operation Cats page and help us out yourself! Together, we can make that $500 happen and help abandoned and abused animals this Christmas.

And be sure to check back here soon, for a post by Chase himself, as well as a follow-up from me about the Trillium ‘Heroes for Hope’ gig I played that helped me help Chase help the ASPCA!

Thanks to everyone who has helped support TheDonatingDrummer this month! Get your project/goal ideas ready for January . . . we’ve got a big year coming up!
